Birthday Party for MWA’s Anthology!

Maryland Writer’s Association will be celebrating the first birthday of “New Lines from the Old Line State,” an anthology of work by Maryland authors. Join us at:
Cyclops Bookstore
Friday 9/11
7:00 pm

for a birthday party featuring talks from authors Ami Spencer, Mary Stojak, Sherry Audette Morrow, Sally Whitney, Frank S. Joseph, Sonia Linebaugh, and Angela Render. Of course, like any proper birthday party, there will be cake, drinks, and party hats!

Authors will discuss the inspirations for their work and their processes, from first to final drafts, as well as share reflections on their work one year after publication. “New Lines” officially launched one year ago at the Baltimore Book Festival, and and contains thirty-six pieces of literature from twenty-nine Maryland writers. “New Lines” has been described as containing “can’t-be-missed work” and a testament that “[Maryland's] literary health seems good and vibrant.”

Cyclops Books is an independent used bookseller located at 30 West North Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21202. Free on-street parking is available.
