<description>Nice post, and a timely topic. This morning I came across an interesting study that might be of interest from the standpoint of social media ROI as a quantifiable measure: https://www.openforum.com/idea-hub/topics/marketing/article/digital-marketing-facts-whats-working-ann-handley?cid=email_articlefeed_articlebutton. It&#039;s related to the topic of social media ROI as a quantifiable measure.

The problem, as you say, is that if all people are measuring is click-throughs, the results aren&#039;t going to be all that exciting. But experienced ad people know that it&#039;s all about association. I blogged about this on my non-biz blog a while back; you might be interested in reading it: http://sottovoce.avwrites.com/?p=525.

Cheers,
Paul
