Angela Render Publishes Handy Web Site Tips For Writers

July 3, 2007

Ellicott City, MD - Author and Web Developer, Angela Render will be featured in six upcoming issues of Writers' Journal. In an effort to help writers promote themselves and their writing, Angela had tailored her expertise into a six part series entitled, "So You Need a Website."

Part one, set to appear in the November/December 2007 issue, will help writers decide how much web development they should take on themselves and when to hire help. Subsequent articles will cover:
 | 1) | 9 questions your web developer should ask you |
 | 2) | The types of pages you need |
 | 3) | The pros and cons of graphics |
 | 4) | Blogs, websites and message boards |
 | 5) | Getting found on the web |
"Writers at all levels can really benefit from a web presence, " explains Angela. "More and more traditional publishing houses expect writers to promote their own work. For a first-time author, bringing a viable platform to the table can make the difference in attracting a publishing house. A web site is a cost-effective and valuable tool both for building a following and for promoting your book. Freelance journalists can benefit even more."

The series promises to provide friendly, actionable suggestions for writers.
