It’s been over a year since my last article on this subject and we’re long overdue for an update. Google announced big changes last fall so I’ve run some tests and I will share my findings with you.

I had the privilege of speaking at the 21st Annual Maryland Writers’ Association Conference on May 9, 2009, held at the Maritime Institute of Technology in Linthicum Heights, MD. The Maritime Institute was a great facility for the event. I say this from the perspective of a speaker who has had her unfair share of “oops” stories when it comes to presenting. Balticon 43 will take place May 22-25, 2009, and Angela Render has been invited back. This time, she and editor and writer Ally E. Peltier will present a two hour workshop on building a writers platform. More to come.
